Afro Education Consulting authorized to

represent Chinese universities in

Somalia

Afro Education Consulting, the first and only education consultancy firm in Somalia, has been authorized to recruit Somali and East African students for Chinese Universities. COSMOS Consultancy, sole representative of BEIHUA UNIVERSITY, China, for the whole world, has authorized Afro Education Consulting to work as sub consultant in the recruitment of international students.

As part of this agreement, AfroEdu can now accept and process application forms for Beihua University and can arrange admission through Cosmos provided university regularities for admission are met. This service would help the Somali students get the admission of Chinese universities without traveling to a third country like Pakistan.

In the signing ceremony held at COSMOS office in Rwalpindi - Pakistan, representatives from both firms highlighted the significance of this service for Somali students. Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Nur, representative of AfroEdu in Pakistan, mentioned that AfroEdu will make every effort to facilitate admission for Somali students in Chinese universities through Cosmos. “It is a unique opportunity that both students and parents can have first-hand information at their doorstep. Our representatives will provide full information regarding the university education, as Beihua University has quality but cheap medical education in English language” .

Mr. Qaiser Mahmood, representative of Cosmos has stated that the step to give AfroEdu the authority to promote BEIHUA in Somalia came as a result of the growing number of foreign students who are seeking admission at Chinese universities. “We hope Somalis will benefit from this service”.
